Our Mission

At chess champions, we aspire to teach kids how to be champions at chess and in the real world. Chess, though an ancient game, helps kids develop critical thinking skills as well as positive decision making. It is important that kids learn these skills especially in a time of development. Acording to Chess.com , playing chess teaches children how to focus better and opens the brain up to be more creative while also having fun.

Who can join?

Anyone! Young or old, experienced or not, we invite all types of chess players to come and play a match. However, Chess Champions is most known for teaching kids about the basic rules to kids from K-5. Some expienced middle school and high school players may contact us for opportunites to help assist meetings.
